A summer meeting was held to elect new leadership for the 2008-2009 school year. Our congratulations go out to President Nick Glorioso, Vice President Tommy Meusburger, returning Treasurer Mike Rogers, and Secretary Dayne West. We hope to remain active during the summer with more programming practice before resuming meetings during the Fall.

ACM competition is over. UNLV ACM took two teams to the competition in Riverside, CA. Both teams are lauded on their performance. Team UNLV Rebels, consisting of Nick Glorioso, Jia Tse, and Vitaliy Kubushyn, finished 17th out of 70 with 3 problems solved. Team B, consisting of Scott Miller, Aaron Thomas, and Mike Rogers, did not solve any problems but still represented UNLV with honor. Better luck next time guys. Pictures of the competition and the fun we had there will be up soon.
We will continue practicing and hopefully beat Caltech next year, who as usual took the first place at the competition. Now that the competition is over, we can do other cool stuff and concentrate on getting more members.

Hello everyone. This is the new president. I've reworked the site to include a news section. This is going to be the best place to find out what the ACM is doing at any particular time.
I plan on adding a section with programming problems and solutions soon.
The membership tab has the new meeting information and times.
More to come soon!
