Every Friday at 9am - TBE B361 (The CS Computer Lab)
Theoretical meetings include Dr. Larmore for a serious boost of brainpower.
They will start October 12th.

Fall 2007
- Weekly Programming meetings will happen as scheduled. Problems will be solved!
- November 10. Southern California Regional Collegiate Programming Contest!
Summer 2006
- Dr. Larmore lecture: "How to improve Dynamic Algorithms. A faster solution to the Stick Cutting Problem"
- Dr. Hal Sudburough from UT Dallas lecture: "A better method for solving the Pancake Problem"
- Dr. John Noga from California State University, Northridge lecture: "Broken Necklace Algorithm"
- Dr. Larmore lecture: "An introduction to the Stick Cutting Problem"
- Dr. Pedersen offering a lecture: "A Crash Course in Parallel Computing"
- Dr. Kim to discuss the importance of computer security.
- Dr. Hildebrand, a math professor with PhD from Berkeley, has several topics from his industry experience, and perhaps some challenge problems.
- James introduces the Challege Problems
Spring 2006
- Prof Myron Ginsberg visits UNLV April 20 & 21 2006.
- Training for next years ACM Programming Contest will begin Saturday April 8th at 12:30pm in the Great Hall.
Fall 2005
- Congrats to UNLV: Black Team for their 8th place finish in the ACM Regional Programming Contest (ahead of CalTech and Harvey Mudd teams ..hehe)
